In transforming our estate-grown grapes to Ovid wine, we take meticulous care in every step, blending classical and modern methods in farming and winemaking.  Planted in 2000, our 15 acre organically farmed and CCOF-certified vineyard is divided into one acre blocks, each with a different rootstock and clone combination of Bordeaux varietals:  Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Our gravity flow winemaking process uses traditional and modern methods, including built-in-place concrete and pre-cast concrete fermenters, all with state-of-the-art controls. The winery itself is classically proportioned and built of timeless materials — wood, stone and concrete, interleaved with modern windows, hatches and skylights – and powered by solar energy.

For your security, our web based ordering process utilizes an advanced technology known as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This ensures that all sales transaction information is transferred via encrypted methods.

All orders require a credit card. Upon submitting an order, all credit card numbers and related information are transmitted using the encryption methods described above. You should be able to verify the security status by clicking on the closed lock icon at the end of the URL address bar of your browser.

The information that you provide us will not be shared or sold to other companies other than as necessary to fulfill your request, as for example, to ship an order. The information is utilized so that we may offer a level of service commensurate with the quality of our wines.

If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact the winery immediately. Refunds are only issued when wine is damaged or lost and a claim is filed with the shipper.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
